We are excited to announce the launch of our Officer Improvement Program – a special initiative where select security officers will have the opportunity to test and provide feedback on the latest version of our mobile app before its official release to the Apple and Android stores.
Your experience and insights are invaluable to us, and your feedback will help shape the future of the tools we use every day.
What You Need to Know:
Program Purpose: Test the new features and improvements in the app and provide your honest feedback.
Who Can Participate: Selected security officers committed to helping us enhance the app’s performance, usability, and reliability.
How Long: The beta testing phase will run for a limited time before the official app release.
How to Download the Beta App:
We’ve made it easy for you to get started! Follow these steps:
Step 1: Uninstall/Delete the Current OfficerApps application.
Step 2: Download the APK File
You can download the APK file in one of the following ways:
- From your mobile browser by clicking this link and downloading the file on the page.
- The file will typically save to your Downloads folder.
Step 3: Allow Installations from Unknown Sources
The first time you try to install an APK, you’ll need to give permission to the app (such as your browser or file manager) to install unknown apps.
Here’s how:
Tap on the APK file you downloaded.
A message will appear saying your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps.
Tap Settings when prompted.
Enable "Allow from this source".
Tap the back arrow to return to the installation screen.
Note: You only need to do this once per app (e.g., Chrome, Gmail, or Files).
Step 4: Install the APK
Tap on the APK file again (from Downloads or your notification bar).
Tap Install.
Wait for the installation to complete.
Once installed, tap Open to launch the app.
Important: This version is for testing purposes only. Please report any bugs or glitches you encounter.
