Why Are Officers Still Active on My Dashboard After Clocking Out or Leaving the Company?

How to Correct Officers Appearing as Active on the Dashboard


When an officer leaves without clocking out or fails to select a clock-out type, the system continues to show them as active on the dashboard.


Steps to Resolve:

  • Go to Clock In/Out Records in the system.
  • Filter by the officer(s) currently appearing as active on the dashboard.
  • Select a relevant time frame to locate their last recorded shift.
  • Check for missing clock-out records:
    • If a clock-out box is empty (no time and date), it means the officer did not clock out.
    • If a clock-out record is missing a green square, it means the officer clocked out but did not select a clock-out type (e.g., Shift, Lunch, etc.).

As you can see, there is no green icon before the clock-out time and date, indicating that a clock-out type was not selected. To resolve this, click on the pencil icon, and the following window will appear. 




Click on "Type" and choose the appropriate option.


By updating these records accordingly, you can ensure accurate reporting and remove inactive officers from the dashboard.
