Geofencing Alerts notify account Administrators and Site Supervisors, via both Email and SMS, when an officer leaves the geofencing area of a Site.
Step-By-Step: Setup Geofence Alerts
To setup Geofence Alerts follow these steps:
- Click on Client & Site
- Click on the Client Name for the Site you want to set up Smart Features for.
- Click on either the name of the Site or the Pencil (Edit) icon.
- Click on the Smart Features Settings tab
- Check the Send Geofence Alert checkbox.
- Click Submit.
- Administrators and Site Supervisors will receive these alerts via Email and SMS. You will want to ensure that your profile information is correct by clicking on your username in the upper left hand corner then My Profile. and Site Supervisors (Officers -> Manage Officers) have a email address and phone number listed.
The arrow below shows approximately where this alert would trigger when the officer steps outside of the Geofencing area:
